I've had a succession of both DSLR and Point-and-Shoot cameras. I've come to the conclusion that the camera does not make the photographer. A good photographer can take excellent pictures with any camera. I enhance some of my photographs digitally with Photoshop, and a suite of Topaz plugins. For simple editing sometimes I use Gimp.
